I started in construction, building docks on Lake Norman for a local contractor. I learned framing, pilings, and decking from the ground up — the parts of the job you only understand once you've built them for a few summers.

What I kept running into wasn't a construction problem. Homeowners would approve a design, then stand on the shoreline partway through the build and say it wasn't what they'd pictured. They weren't wrong — a verbal description and a rough sketch aren't enough to picture a structure before it exists. That gap is what causes change orders, delays, and disputes.

I started Shoreline Designs in 2020 to close it. I do the dimensioned CAD drawings a builder can build from and the photorealistic renderings a homeowner can actually see beforehand — both, myself, on every project.
